Bourgas artistic company Dune / Dance BG sent off winter season with  series of stage p erformances, called “DANCE in February”. 
From 12 to 19 February, Dune / BG Dance will present to the Bourgas audience three dance productions designed for different audiences and age..

The February dance season opens on 12.02 from 19.30h. in the hall of NHK with SHOW PRODUCTION, presenting performances of formations of the Contemporary Dance School affiliated  to  Dance BG Company and Youth Cultural Center.The show will involve most of the dancers of the School - Forsait, Junior,TNT, Rouge Ballet and winner of the prestigious 6 Place of Hip Hop World Championship 2008 - Forsait Crew.

Traditional guests of the production will be BLACK STYLE Brake Club, vice-champions in section Brake Dance of the World Hip Hop Championship 2008 - NEW HOPE Crew and Burgas break dance legends Dobri Momcheta and Gangsta Gangsta Production / GGP /. Besides shattering real hip hop the show will also present performances of a new wave of rock and alternative music.

The February dance wave continues on 19th February, from 19.30 h. in the hall of NHK with SECOND HAND MOVIE presentation and the joint production of Dune Dance company with U.S. guest choreographer Elia Mrak. Elia is a Dune Dance Company guest for the 3rd time. Within the “DANCE in February” he will present a performance-improvisation called “PASSING”. In the spectacle will participate the dancers of the troupe, and young performers from the School of Contemporary Dance as well.

Elia’s education passes through Pomona College in Los Angeles / USA / specializations and numerous international dance teachers and choreographers. He held a seminar on dance improvisation with Bourgas dancers.

SECOND HAND MOVIE is the latest project of Dune Dance Company. It presents to its audience an impossible mix of cliches - situations and characters borrowed from the movies and interpreting real life.
